Wow, no kidding. I didn't know that. I mean, sure, I knew there was a country take-off, a rap take-off, and any number of silly knock-offs, but I just assumed they all were spontaneously created (the immaculate concerto or something) and that there was, in a very Douglas Adams worldview of things, no actual original song to mock.
