A busy year already for my soccer writing.
I started by resigning my post as the beat journalist covering the Colorado Rapids MLS team for American Soccer News.
Instead, I'm going freelance!
My first piece of the new year is all fun and rumor, something I couldn't really engage in last year. A bit liberating, definitely different.

Read a bit more about my going independent here, at least for a while. The American Soccer News guys are top notch soccer journalists and professionals. Frustrations arose in my ability to produce good pieces in the horrible environment created by the Colorado Rapids media organization.
