Wee Irish Redhead!
I married a red-headed Irish woman named O'Neill.
You all knew that, but did you know she's actually an Irish citizen???
Woo Hoo! This is the real thing. Next up? An Irish (and EU) passport.
As you know, we announced just about a year ago that our second son would be named Liam Robert Fisher.
Liam is Irish, as in Redheaded O'Neill clan Kathy Fisher Irish...see my earlier blog entry on how she started this path towards being granted dual Irish citizenship.
Liam means 'Great Defender' or 'Unwavering Protector' (which is an auspicious Soccer sign) and is, as you may have guessed, the Irish version of William!
Anyway, we'll be celebrating in downtown Denver Friday evening at one of the local Irish pubs, either Celtic Tavern or Fadó's most likely. C U there!
