I'm putting together the calendar of World Cup Watching today.
It's all the games I'd like to see, with all the games I have to see.
Have to see USA games, Group of Death (group E)
USA vs. Czech Republic (June 12), Italia (June 17), and Ghana (June 22).
Games I really should keep track of
Other Group E Games. Italia, Ghana, Czech Republic. With the USA, total of 6 games I need to watch.
So, we're up to 6 games, but only 3 days (12, 17, 22).
Next up, what do I want to watch?
Germany Games, England Games. England because, dunno, it's just sort of historical. And to see if they wilt without Wayne Rooney as a striker. Plus, it's fun to watch with my English neighbor. He says all sorts of funny things. Like "Blimey" and "Fish 'n' Chips!"
Germany because they are the home team and the pressure cooker is on high!
FIFA would never put those two countries in the same group together, so that's another 3 games each, or 6 games possible to watch.
Add England June 10, 15, 20, Germany June 9, 14, 20. At the very least I need to see England v Sweden and the opening match of the tournament, Germany beats up on poor Costa Rica.
12 Games-ish.
3. Other good stuff, like Brazil and stuff. Gotta think this through a bit more.
